the issue of immigration has been stewing for quite awhile now and after hearing the chatter i'd like to pose some questions:
do the people who bitch about people from mexico traveling north for work know that mexico used to extend a little farther north? surely this irony escapes them, right?
do the people who bitch about illegal immigrants realize the 'founding fathers' were, essentially, illegal immigrants?
why do so many people point their finger at the guy who cuts corners and ignores laws in order to better provide for his family instead of the other guy who cuts corners and ignores laws in order to better provide for his family?
is it true, as i suspect, that the people who think illegal immigrants and single mothers 'work welfare' have no idea what the contract with america is?
do the people who bitch about illegal immigrants really want a job working in a slaughterhouse?
when did mexico and iran become the same country?
