my lunch today made me sick (MSG got me), and i drank ginger root tea to fix it. ginger tea is, like, the best defense ever against belly monsters. if you are sensitive to certain food ingredients or eat something that brings out the belly monsters, drink ginger tea. you can buy it in tea bags or in leaf form. it isn't expensive or hard to find, and it works incredibly well. it's also far more natural and better for your body than over-the-counter products.
i just wanted to pass on this tip because there have been twice in the past month i've eaten foods that have made me feel like a miserable loaf afterwards, and both times i drank ginger tea and felt anew within the hour.
good stuff.
now if i could only get chinese take-out to love me as much as i love chinese take-out. *sigh*

there are also ginger chews that are good for what ails ya in the belly region.
Ginger tea ruuuules! And so does chewing on fresh ginger ... bit strong though.
